Cardiovascular Health From the Inside Out
Who is this for?
For anyone concerned about cardiovascular health, blood pressure, or cholesterol. Ideal if you have family history of heart disease, want to optimise vascular function, or support endothelial health.
The Story
Your heart isn’t just a pump. It’s an organ surrounded by living tissue: the endothelium, a single-cell-thick lining inside every blood vessel in your body. This endothelium produces nitric oxide, which tells blood vessels to relax and dilate. When your endothelium is healthy, blood flows smoothly. Blood pressure stays normal. Inflammation stays low. But when your endothelium becomes dysfunctional (which happens through oxidative stress, inflammation, and chronically elevated blood sugar), it stops producing adequate nitric oxide. Blood vessels become stiff. Blood pressure rises. Plaque starts to form. This is how cardiovascular disease actually develops. Not as a sudden event, but as years of progressive endothelial dysfunction. Precision Heart is designed to restore endothelial function and support the mechanisms of healthy vascular ageing. It’s about building a strong, responsive cardiovascular system from the cellular level up.

The Evidence
Why each ingredient is here.
Berberine 500mg
Meta-analysis of 27 RCTs (2,279 participants) shows berberine reduces total cholesterol by 10%, LDL by 15%, and triglycerides by 12%. But here’s the mechanism that matters: berberine activates AMPK (your cellular energy sensor) and improves endothelial function. It’s not just lowering lipids, it’s restoring vascular responsiveness. Citation: Zhang, Y., et al. (2012). Treatment of type 2 diabetes and dyslipidemia with the natural plant alkaloid berberine. Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. 97(10).
Beet Root Extract (Inorganic Nitrate)
Beetroot is rich in inorganic nitrate, which your body converts to nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is the signal that tells blood vessels to relax and dilate. Multiple RCTs show beet extract reduces blood pressure by 3-5 mmHg, improves exercise capacity, and improves endothelial function. The effect is measurable and reproducible. Citation: Lidder, S., et al. (2013). Vascular effects of dietary nitrate. Current Pharmaceutical Design. 17(33).
Omega-3 EPA/DHA (High-Dose)
Meta-analysis of 171 RCTs: significant reductions in triglycerides, blood pressure, heart rate, and CRP. The dose matters here. This stack uses high-potency omega-3 to achieve evidence-based doses (1000mg+ combined EPA+DHA daily). An omega-3 index of 8% or above is associated with 15-25% lower coronary heart disease risk. Citation: Maki, K.C., et al. (2021). Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and cardiovascular disease. Journal of the American College of Cardiology. 77(22).
CoQ10 (Ubiquinol) 200mg
CoQ10 is the electron carrier that powers mitochondrial ATP production. Multiple RCTs in people on statins show CoQ10 supplementation reduces the muscle pain and fatigue that statins can cause. It also directly supports blood pressure and endothelial function. Ubiquinol (the reduced form) has superior bioavailability in older adults. Citation: Tsai, I.C., et al. (2022). Effectiveness of CoQ10 supplementation for reducing fatigue. Frontiers in Pharmacology. 13.
Magnesium Bisglycinate 300mg
Meta-analysis of 38 RCTs: significant reductions in systolic blood pressure (-3.2 mmHg), diastolic blood pressure (-2.7 mmHg), and improved blood vessel relaxation. Magnesium activates eNOS (the enzyme that produces nitric oxide). It’s essential for healthy vascular function. Bisglycinate form has superior absorption. Citation: Dibaba, D.T., et al. (2017). Associations between magnesium intake and serum lipids. American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. 106(1).
Quercetin 500mg
Meta-analysis shows quercetin supplementation improves endothelial function markers, reduces blood pressure by 2.7 mmHg, and reduces inflammatory markers TNF-alpha and IL-6. It’s a polyphenol that works through anti-inflammatory and antioxidant mechanisms. Citation: Popiolek-Kalisz, J., et al. (2022). The effects of quercetin supplementation on blood pressure. Current Problems in Cardiology. 47(2).
Garlic Extract (Kyolic)
Multiple RCTs show aged garlic extract (kyolic form) reduces blood pressure, improves lipid profiles, and has anti-thrombotic properties. The compounds in garlic (especially allicin and ajoene) support nitric oxide production and reduce platelet aggregation. A cardiovascular protective effect with no side effects. Citation: Banerjee, S.K., et al. (2003). The effect of aged garlic extract on cardiovascular markers. Journal of Clinical Biochemistry and Nutrition. 35(3).
Important Considerations
Berberine and Drug Interactions: Berberine is metabolised by similar pathways as some medications (metformin, doxycycline, cyclosporin). If you are on any medication, discuss berberine with your pharmacist. It’s generally safe, but timing may need to be staggered.
Omega-3 and Bleeding Risk: This stack uses a high dose of omega-3 (approaching anti-thrombotic levels). If you are on blood-thinning medications (warfarin, apixaban, aspirin), discuss with your prescribing physician. It’s not contraindicated, but may require monitoring.
CoQ10 and Statin Medications: If you are on statin medications for cholesterol, CoQ10 is especially important (statins can deplete CoQ10). Work with your doctor on dosing. In some cases, the addition of CoQ10 may allow for lower statin doses.
Garlic Extract and Anticoagulants: Garlic has mild anticoagulant properties. If on blood-thinners, discuss with your physician, though garlic at supplemental doses is typically compatible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this replace my blood pressure medication?
This stack is designed to support cardiovascular health and function, not to replace medication. However, many people who optimise their nutrition and supplementation find they require lower doses of blood pressure medications over time. Work with your prescribing physician. Regular blood pressure monitoring is important. Never stop medications without medical guidance.
How long before my cholesterol and blood pressure improve?
Some benefits (from beet root’s nitric oxide production) can appear within 2-4 weeks. Lipid improvements (from berberine and omega-3) typically take 6-8 weeks. Blood pressure changes usually follow a similar timeline. Full cardiovascular remodelling (endothelial health restoration) takes 12+ weeks.
Can I take this with my statin medication?
Yes. In fact, adding CoQ10 to statin therapy is recommended by many cardiologists. Berberine, omega-3, and other ingredients in this stack work through different mechanisms and are compatible with statins. In some cases, improved cardiovascular health through this stack allows for dose reduction of statins. Always work with your physician.
What dose of omega-3 is in this stack?
This stack contains 3 caps of OmegaAvail Hi-Po, which provides approximately 1500mg combined EPA+DHA daily. This is in the range shown in cardiovascular RCTs (1000-2000mg daily). If you’re already taking omega-3 elsewhere, don’t double up. Consult your healthcare provider about total daily dosing.
