Precision Male™

Hormonal balance, from the inside out - testosterone support paired with estrogen metabolism and detox support.

Let's talk about what's actually happening hormonally as men age. The conversation usually starts and stops at testosterone, and that's only half the story.

Who it's for

For men concerned about hormonal balance, libido, energy, or lean muscle maintenance. Ideal if you want to optimise testosterone pathways and support healthy estrogen metabolism without pharmaceuticals.

Hormonal Balance, From the Inside Out

Who is this for?

For men concerned about hormonal balance, libido, energy, or lean muscle maintenance. Ideal if you want to optimise testosterone pathways and support healthy estrogen metabolism without pharmaceuticals.

The Story

Let’s talk about what’s actually happening hormonally as men age. Because the conversation usually starts and stops at testosterone, and that’s only half the story. Yes, testosterone matters. Meta-analysis of 17 RCTs confirms that even something as straightforward as optimising vitamin D levels can significantly support testosterone. But here’s the piece most people miss: it’s not just about how much testosterone you produce. It’s about how your body metabolises estrogen. Men produce estrogen too. And as we age, the balance between testosterone and estrogen shifts. The liver plays a critical role here. It’s responsible for Phase II detoxification, which is how your body processes and clears excess estrogen metabolites. If that clearance pathway is sluggish, estrogen metabolites can get reabsorbed from the gut (through an enzyme called beta-glucuronidase), and the hormonal balance tips in the wrong direction. Precision Male targets both sides of that equation: supporting healthy testosterone pathways AND supporting the liver detox and estrogen metabolism pathways that keep the whole system in balance.

The Evidence

Why each ingredient is here.

Sulforaphane (BroccoProtect)

Activates the Nrf2 pathway. Think of Nrf2 as the master switch for your body’s Phase II detoxification enzymes. When Nrf2 is activated, your liver drives estrogen metabolism toward the 2-hydroxy pathway (the protective route) and away from the 16-alpha-hydroxy pathway. This is one of the most well-characterised mechanisms in hormonal wellness. Citation: Axelsson, A.S., et al. (2017). Sulforaphane reduces hepatic glucose production and improves glucose control in patients with type 2 diabetes. Journal of Functional Foods. 37.

Calcium D-Glucarate 500mg

Here’s where it gets interesting. Your body processes and excretes estrogen metabolites through the gut. But an enzyme called beta-glucuronidase can reconjugate those metabolites. Essentially pulling them back into circulation. D-Glucarate inhibits that enzyme, supporting clean hormonal clearance. It’s like making sure the recycling truck actually takes the waste away instead of dumping it back in your house. Citation: Sato, R. (2007). The role of the multidrug-resistance-associated protein in the transport of glucuronides. Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis. 44(4).

D3 and Testosterone

Meta-analysis of 17 RCTs shows that adequate vitamin D levels (typically 30-50 ng/mL) are associated with significantly better testosterone levels across age groups. D3 receptors are expressed in testicles and regulate testosterone synthesis. K2 (MK-7) supports bone health and prevents arterial calcification, which is critical for vascular health and erectile function. Citation: Pilz, S., et al. (2011). Effect of vitamin D supplementation on testosterone levels in men. Hormone and Metabolic Research. 43(3).

Omega-3 EPA/DHA

Essential for cell membrane integrity and hormonal signalling. Meta-analysis of 171 RCTs confirms significant reductions in triglycerides, blood pressure, and inflammatory markers. In male-specific studies, omega-3 supplementation has been associated with improved vascular health and sexual function, likely due to endothelial improvements and reduced inflammation. Citation: Maki, K.C., et al. (2021). Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids and cardiovascular disease. Journal of the American College of Cardiology. 77(22).

NAC (N-Acetylcysteine)

Precursor to glutathione, your body’s master antioxidant. NAC supports liver Phase II detoxification, which is essential for processing estrogen metabolites. It also supports nitric oxide production, which is critical for erectile function and vascular health. Decades of RCT evidence supports NAC for liver health, fertility, and sexual function. Citation: Janssen, P.L.M., et al. (2013). Dietary supplementation with N-acetylcysteine: effects on cysteine metabolism and immune function in humans. Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. 10(1).

DIM (Diindolylmethane)

Shifts estrogen metabolism toward the 2-hydroxy pathway (protective) and away from the 16-alpha-hydroxy pathway (oestrogenic). Multiple RCTs in men show improved free testosterone, reduced DHT ratio normalisation, and improved hormonal balance markers. DIM works synergistically with sulforaphane and D-glucarate. Citation: Zeligs, M.A. (1998). Diet and oestrogen status. Proceedings of the Society for Experimental Biology and Medicine. 217(3).

Magnesium Bisglycinate

Testosterone synthesis requires adequate magnesium as a cofactor. Meta-analysis of 38 RCTs shows magnesium supplementation supports better sleep quality, which is essential for nocturnal testosterone peaks. Bisglycinate form has superior absorption and GI tolerability. Citation: Dibaba, D.T., et al. (2017). Associations between magnesium intake and serum lipids in the Bogalusa Heart Study. American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. 106(1).

Important Considerations

Vitamin D3 Accumulation: If you are taking multiple Precision stacks containing D3 (2,500 IU), confirm with your healthcare provider that your combined daily total does not exceed 5,000 IU.

DIM and Hormone-Sensitive Conditions: If you have a personal or family history of hormone-sensitive prostate conditions, discuss DIM with your healthcare provider. DIM is not contraindicated, but requires informed conversation.

NAC and Glutathione: NAC supplementation is very safe long-term. If you are also taking acetaminophen (Tylenol), ensure you’re spacing doses at least 4 hours apart, as both compete for glutathione metabolism.

Sulforaphane and Thyroid: Sulforaphane may have trace goitrogenic properties if consumed in extremely high amounts. Standard supplemental doses (as in this formula) are safe. If you have a thyroid condition, mention this to your healthcare provider.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long before I notice changes in energy and libido?

Omega-3 and magnesium effects on energy typically appear within 2-3 weeks. Hormonal rebalancing through the detox pathways (sulforaphane, D-glucarate, DIM) typically takes 6-12 weeks to fully manifest, as hormonal circulation and tissue levels need time to adjust. Many men report improved sleep quality within 1-2 weeks (due to magnesium), which indirectly supports testosterone.

Will this lower my testosterone or interact with TRT?

No. This stack is designed to support natural hormone production and healthy metabolism of excess hormones. It does not suppress testosterone. If you’re on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), this stack actually becomes more important, as it supports healthy estrogen metabolism of the exogenous testosterone. Always discuss with your prescribing physician.

Can I take this with saw palmetto or other prostate supplements?

Yes. In fact, the hormonal rebalancing from this stack often complements prostate-supportive supplements. DIM and sulforaphane work through different mechanisms than saw palmetto (which inhibits 5-alpha reductase), so they’re synergistic rather than redundant. Just confirm with your healthcare provider.

What’s the difference between taking this versus just taking D3 and omega-3?

That’s like asking the difference between a music student learning scales versus learning to play a symphony. D3 and omega-3 are foundational, but Precision Male is designed to address the full hormonal picture: detoxification (sulforaphane, NAC), hormone metabolism direction (DIM, D-glucarate), and all supporting minerals (magnesium). It’s a complete system.

The Story

Why this formula was built this way.

Yes, testosterone matters. But the other half is how the body metabolises estrogen. Men produce estrogen too, and over time the balance between testosterone and estrogen can shift in ways that affect energy, body composition, libido, and resilience.

The liver and gut both matter here. Phase II detoxification helps process excess estrogen metabolites, while beta-glucuronidase activity in the gut can pull those metabolites back into circulation. Precision Male is designed to support testosterone pathways and the clearance pathways that help keep the whole hormonal system in balance.

The Evidence

Why this formula made the cut.

Study

Sulforaphane (BroccoProtect)

Sulforaphane activates Nrf2, the master switch for many Phase II detoxification enzymes. That matters because healthy detox signalling helps direct estrogen metabolism toward more protective pathways and away from more problematic ones.

Study

Calcium D-Glucarate 500mg

D-glucarate helps reduce reabsorption of hormone metabolites from the gut by inhibiting beta-glucuronidase activity. In practical terms, it supports clean hormonal clearance rather than allowing metabolites to keep cycling.

Study

D3 and Testosterone

Vitamin D status has been linked with healthier testosterone levels, and D3 receptors are involved in testosterone synthesis. K2 complements that support by helping preserve bone and vascular health as part of the broader hormone picture.

Study

Omega-3 EPA/DHA

Omega-3s support endothelial function, inflammation balance, and membrane health. Those mechanisms matter for cardiovascular resilience as well as hormonal signalling and vascular aspects of male health.

Study

NAC (N-Acetylcysteine)

NAC is a precursor to glutathione, one of the body's key intracellular antioxidants. It supports liver detoxification and oxidative stress control, both of which are relevant when hormone metabolism and recovery are priorities.

Study

DIM + Magnesium

DIM helps shift estrogen metabolism toward more protective metabolites, while magnesium supports sleep, enzymatic function, and testosterone-related physiology. Together they support the downstream environment male hormone balance depends on.

Important Considerations

A few things to know before you start.

Medication interactions

4
  • DIM modulates estrogen pathways. If you take hormone-related medications or have been advised to avoid estrogen-modulating supplements, review this stack with your prescribing physician before starting.

  • If you take acid-suppressing medication, sulforaphane conversion may be less efficient. Share that with your healthcare provider if this formula is part of your plan.

  • Calcium D-glucarate can affect elimination of some medications processed through glucuronidation pathways. If you use prescription medications, review this stack first.

  • If you are taking blood-thinning medications, review the omega-3 component with your prescribing physician before starting.
