Power, Recovery, and Joint Integrity for Active Bodies
Who Is This For?
This stack is designed for someone actively seeking to optimise their precision performance. If this resonates with where you are right now, this is your starting point.
The Story
Whether you’re training for a competitive event or just want to keep pushing hard in your workouts as the years go by, performance comes down to three things: power output, recovery speed, and structural integrity. Beta-alanine increases intramuscular carnosine—the buffer that absorbs the hydrogen ions responsible for that “burn” during high-intensity efforts. More buffer means more capacity before fatigue forces you to stop. Creatine is the most extensively studied ergogenic supplement in history, with decades of RCT evidence for sprint power, jump performance, and lean mass. But here’s the piece most performance stacks miss: connective tissue. Tendons, ligaments, and joint cartilage are the structural foundation that lets you produce force safely. 15g of collagen peptides taken 30–60 minutes before training—with vitamin C—significantly elevated collagen synthesis markers in tendon and ligament tissue. The timing matters because exercise-driven blood flow to connective tissue coincides with amino acid availability. Precision Performance is built for the person who wants to train hard, recover fast, and protect the structures that make it all possible.

The Evidence: Why Each Ingredient Is Here
Below is a summary of the research supporting each component. We’ve included formal citations so you can dig deeper if you want to.
Beta-Alanine 3.2–6.4g/day
Meta-analysis of 18 RCTs in trained athletes: overall effect size 0.39 for maximal intensity exercise performance. Greatest benefit in efforts lasting 4–10 minutes and at doses 5.6–6.4g/day. Beta-alanine increases intramuscular carnosine—the dipeptide that buffers hydrogen ion accumulation (the ‘burn’). More buffer = later fatigue = more work capacity. Network meta-analysis: beta-alanine improves jump performance (SUCRA 89%) and repeated sprint capacity.
Creatine Monohydrate 5g
The most extensively studied ergogenic supplement in existence. Network meta-analysis: sprint time SMD -0.42 (SUCRA 94.57%), jump performance significant. Increases phosphocreatine stores for rapid ATP regeneration. Also supports lean mass maintenance, bone density, and cognitive function under fatigue. 5g/day maintenance dose is safe long-term without a loading protocol.
Tart Cherry Extract
Meta-analysis of 14 studies: tart cherry demonstrated moderate effect for muscle strength recovery, power recovery, and muscle soreness reduction. Also reduced CRP and IL-6. The active compounds (anthocyanins) reduce oxidative stress and inflammatory cytokines from exercise-induced muscle damage. Strategic note: use around heavy training blocks rather than continuously, as some inflammatory response is part of the adaptation signal.
Collagen Peptides 15g (pre-exercise)
RCT: 15g collagen peptides taken 30–60 minutes before exercise significantly elevated collagen synthesis markers in tendon and ligament tissue vs placebo. The pre-exercise timing is mechanistically important—vitamin C-stimulated collagen synthesis is enhanced when amino acid availability coincides with exercise-driven blood flow to connective tissue. Systematic review confirms collagen + exercise reduces joint discomfort and supports recovery.
Important Considerations
Before starting any new supplement, please review these clinical considerations. If you’re on prescription medications, share this page with your healthcare provider.
Beta-Alanine
Beta-alanine commonly causes a tingling or flushing sensation (paraesthesia)—this is a harmless, normal neurological response, not an allergic reaction. It passes within 30–60 minutes and diminishes over weeks. Splitting the dose significantly reduces this sensation. Not recommended for individuals with a history of epilepsy without physician guidance.
Creatine Monohydrate
Safe and well-studied at 3–5g/day. Draws water into muscle cells—maintain good daily hydration. If you have pre-existing kidney concerns, share this with your physician. Creatine increases serum creatinine on blood tests (not a sign of kidney issues)—inform your healthcare provider before bloodwork.
Tart Cherry
Very well tolerated. If you are taking blood-thinning medications, note that tart cherry has mild anti-platelet properties. Use strategically around high-demand periods rather than continuously for best results relative to training adaptation.
Collagen pre-exercise (15g)
The higher dose (15g) used pre-exercise for connective tissue differs from the 5g dose for skin and bone in other stacks. If you are on both Precision Radiance and Precision Performance, discuss optimal daily collagen dosing with your wellness coach.

Frequently Asked Questions
When exactly should I take each component?
Beta-alanine: 30-60 minutes pre-training. Creatine: anytime (timing is flexible, but consistency matters more than timing). Collagen + Vitamin C: 30-60 minutes before training. Tart cherry: post-training or pre-bed after intense training days. The sequencing matters more for the collagen/pre-exercise piece than anything else.
I’m a distance runner, not a sprinter. Will this help me?
Beta-alanine’s largest effect is on 4-10 minute efforts. If you’re running 5k-10k, beta-alanine will help. For ultra-distance (2+ hours), the effect is smaller. Creatine helps with power and strength maintenance, which distance runners need. Collagen support is universal—it protects connective tissue for all athletes. If you’re purely aerobic, the dose might be different. Talk to your coach.
The tingling from beta-alanine is annoying. Can I skip it?
The tingling is harmless, but if it bothers you, split the dose (half pre-training, half post-training) and it drops significantly. Or start with a lower dose and work up. The effect is still real, but slower to accumulate. The tingling also diminishes after 2-3 weeks as your body adapts.
How much collagen is too much if I’m taking Precision Radiance too?
Precision Radiance has 5g collagen (skin/bone focus), and Precision Performance has 15g (connective tissue focus). Combined, that’s 20g daily, which is well-studied and safe. Just be aware of the total if you’re adding it from other sources (bone broth, gelatin, etc.).
