Bones, Joints, and the Framework That Holds You Together
Who Is This For?
This stack is designed for someone actively seeking to optimise their precision structure. If this resonates with where you are right now, this is your starting point.
The Story
We don’t often think about our bones and joints until something hurts. But here’s what’s happening underneath: after about age 30, bone density starts a slow, steady decline. Collagen production—the protein matrix that gives bones their flexibility and joints their cushion—decreases by roughly 1–1.5% per year. Cartilage doesn’t have its own blood supply, so it depends entirely on movement and nutrient delivery to maintain itself. Think of your skeleton as the scaffolding of a building. The calcium is the concrete, but the collagen is the rebar—the steel reinforcement that gives the structure its flexibility and resilience. Without the rebar, concrete cracks. That’s why just taking calcium isn’t enough. You need the collagen matrix, the anti-inflammatory support, and the mineral cofactors that allow all of it to work together. Precision Structure combines the two highest-ranked nutritional interventions for joint comfort (boswellia and curcumin), collagen peptides for bone matrix and cartilage support, and magnesium as the essential cofactor for bone mineralisation.

The Evidence: Why Each Ingredient Is Here
Below is a summary of the research supporting each component. We’ve included formal citations so you can dig deeper if you want to.
Boswellia serrata 300mg
Network meta-analysis of 39 RCTs (4,599 participants): boswellia ranks highest of all nutritional supplements for joint comfort (VAS reduction -17.26 vs placebo), stiffness, and physical function. Improvements were detectable as early as day 5. The mechanism is selective inhibition of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX)—blocking the inflammatory pathway without the gastric side effects that can come with traditional anti-inflammatory approaches.
Curcumin (bioavailable) 500mg
Meta-analysis of 15 RCTs (1,621 participants): curcumin significantly improves joint comfort and function scores comparable to NSAIDs, with a significantly lower adverse event rate. The curcumin + boswellia combination is confirmed superior to either agent alone in RCT. The critical variable is bioavailability—phospholipid or piperine-enhanced formulas achieve meaningful tissue levels; standard curcumin does not. We use only bioavailable forms.
Collagen Peptides 5g
12-month RCT (n=131): 5g specific collagen peptides daily significantly improved bone mineral density at femoral neck and spine in postmenopausal women. 4-year follow-up confirmed sustained benefit. And here’s a bonus—the same 5g dose in another RCT improved skin hydration by 23% and elasticity by 8.5%. The same collagen supports both bone and skin.
Magnesium Bisglycinate 200mg
Essential cofactor for bone mineralisation and osteoblast function. Prospective cohort meta-analysis: each 100mg/day increment in dietary magnesium associated with significant reduction in cardiovascular risk. Also supports the deep sleep architecture needed for tissue repair and bone turnover—most of which happens while you sleep.
Important Considerations
Before starting any new supplement, please review these clinical considerations. If you’re on prescription medications, share this page with your healthcare provider.
Curcumin (bioavailable)
Curcumin modulates CYP3A4 and CYP1A2 liver enzymes. If you are on cyclosporin, certain chemotherapy agents, blood-thinning medications, or statin medications, please share this with your prescribing physician. Piperine-enhanced formulas can increase the bioavailability of many other medications—flag this to your healthcare provider if you are on prescription medications.
Boswellia serrata
Generally very well tolerated. Rare reports of mild gastrointestinal discomfort—take with food. If you are on blood-thinning medications, anti-inflammatory medications, or immunosuppressants, share this with your physician before starting.
D3 + K2 (not included)
D3 and K2 are critical co-factors for bone density and vascular calcification prevention. This formula does not include D3 to avoid accumulation in those on multiple stacks. Please ensure D3 is covered by another stack in your protocol, or discuss standalone supplementation with your healthcare provider.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long before I notice a difference in joint comfort?
Boswellia has shown measurable effects in as little as 5 days in RCTs. Most people report noticeable improvement within 2-3 weeks of consistent use. The curcumin effect builds over 4-8 weeks. For bone density changes, we’re looking at a longer timeline—meaningful BMD improvements appear at 6-12 months. Consistency matters more than speed here.
Can I take this alongside my current joint supplement?
Good question, and it depends on what you’re currently taking. If you’re already on another boswellia or curcumin product, we’d suggest coordinating with your healthcare provider to avoid dosing overlap. The combination approach (boswellia + curcumin together) is actually more powerful than either one alone, so sometimes consolidating to this formula works better than stacking.
I’m on blood-thinning medication. Is this safe?
Both boswellia and curcumin have mild effects on platelet function. This isn’t an automatic no—it means your prescribing physician should know about it and monitor you if appropriate. Share this information with them before starting, and they can advise on timing and whether this is right for you.
What if I’m already getting collagen from bone broth or gelatin?
That’s great. Dietary collagen and collagen peptides are complementary. What matters is total collagen amino acid intake and that you have adequate vitamin C for synthesis. If you’re getting substantial collagen from food sources, you might adjust the powder dose downward. This is worth discussing with your wellness coach.
